I've had this years ago with my older, other cat and it was much better made than this. The cover comes off and it's poorly made. I won't buy anything from SmartyKat again.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago but kept forgetting to get batteries for it. When I finally got the batteries, I found it impossible to remove the screw for the battery compartment. I had other people try to remove it as well but no luck. Because it had been so long since I purchased it, I couldn’t get a refund. I was stuck with a cat toy that I could never use. My advice is that if you do buy this toy, make sure right away that you can get into the battery compartment so that if you cannot, you can get a refund.

My cat is absolutely OBSESSED with this! It turns off after 10 minutes, and he comes to find me to turn it back on. It is rather noisy though, so having it continuously on can get a little annoying. My biggest complaint though, is when my cat “catches” it and tries to chew on it or bunny kick, it doesn’t stop moving so the actual machine continues to rotate until he releases it. I’m curious to see how long it’ll put up with that before it breaks.

My cat Gravy loves this toy so much! He plays with it multiple times a day. We have had it for a few months & he still uses it daily. He now opens his toy box to pull it out whenever he wants to use it. He also learned to to press the button to change the speed.It seems very durable because he drags it all around the house. Best toy ever!!!

Cats love it over all but doesn't last. This product EATS batteries so have plenty. The "tail" became a mass after a few weeks but the cats still play with it. Motors power after a few months isn't nearly as strong as it was when first purchased, even with new batteries. Will need to get another, but will wait for sale.

Bought this 2 months ago, my cat loves these toys, this was a 2nd one from a different company that I ordered this time, as she made the last feather attachmenta bit worn out and ugly. It has now died 2 months later. I hear the motor but it no longer spins. Very disappointed this one is no longer working, but my old one still works just fine a year after, so I guess I'll just take the feather attachment from this now worthless one onto the old one. Bummer since these are a little pricey.

This thing lasted 5 mins, if that. The cat wasn't even chasing the thing and it just stopped moving. I can hear the motor running, but clearly something internal just broke. Also, when I purchased it from Petco, the mouse end was missing; had to get a replacement.

My one cat who won’t play with any toys absolutely loves this toy. She can’t resist the cat and mouse urge. I recommend this toy very much! I saw this being reviewed by Jackson Galaxy on YouTube.
