It's hard to buy toys my cats actually like, I have a whole basket of various toys that they have little to no interest in. On a whim I decided to buy this toy today not expecting much but as soon as I took it out of the package and it started making noise my cats were OBSESSED. For the past two hours I've been hearing nonstop chirping which I don't mind because it means my cats are actually having fun with a toy for once. I plan on buying extras so they don't have to fight over the one, even if it means even more chirping.

It's not as loud (a plus for me) as it's cricket (which is loud) counterpart also sold by petco. It's also not triggered as easily so your toy breed dog or cat needs to really pick it up or bat at it to trigger the sound. It chirps long enough to keep interest and the feathers are alluring enough to work up curiosity. My cat and 6 lb dog love it.

This is my cat’s favorite toy. At this point we’ve gone through about 8-9 because he plays with it, rips the feathers off, chews it, and claws it until the stuffing is long gone and the battery is falling out. That’s not to say the quality isn’t good, it takes him a few months to accomplish this, and we play with this toy everyday. I even find it on my bed some mornings. I will say the chirping noise is pretty annoying at first, but it usually only lasts a few days to a week until it stops. If you have a cat that loves to play fetch, or hunting games, this toy is perfect. However, if you have a dog that likes to swallow stuffed toys, you may want to stay away, as my brother’s dog has swallowed this toy whole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fur baby loves this toy! It is really interactive and helps my pet's brain be stimulated. It's a perfect size and I like how it is motion activated. The noise isn't too loud. It really does sound like a bird chirping.
