I feed them in separate bowls on each side of the fireplace. They are grazers eat some leave etc. I put morning portion in their bowl and then later if empty evenings. I’d like to them to eat all their dry food in two meals and finish in a timely manner. How to train them to do this without making them get too skinny? And how many cups should I feed them? My puppy usually eats breakfast (1/3 cup) at 4:00 am and 4:00 pm. Sometimes when we put the dinner out he does not eat. The back of my pet food says the weight in grams per cup of food. I notice when I weigh the food for 1/3 cup it only fills the measuring cup about 3/4 full.
