My dog is a maltese/poodle and about 6 yrs. old. He was a rescue from PetCo. We are not active people being in our 70's and have med. conditions but he sometimes gets a run but usually a mild walk. He has been chewing at his front legs to where they are discolored. At his last grooming his eyes became irritated from the eyebrows being shaved too close and he kept rubbing them so I washed them with a boric acid solution made for humans. They seem better but still have the hard gunk on the edges.
Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem. My dog has red patches of flaky skin that itch on her right side I have been giving her 25 mg of benedryl for the itching every 8 hours just started that yesterday she has had it for over a week I bought 2 diff shampoos can you tell me which one I should use there will be a pic of her skin an a pic of each shampoo I bought I don’t know which one to use to help her skin please let me know which to use an what else I could do to help her I don’t have money for a vet an I am try to help her thanks

Hi, I need some advice. We went on vacation the first week of July and left our 8 month old dog with a pet sitter at our house for the week. We noticed when we got home he had a bald spot on his leg. Ever since he always licks and nibbles on it so it is still bald and sometimes red. He is a silver lab. He does have some dry skin spots in other areas we noticed when brushing him. We are going crazy trying to find how to get him to stop licking the spot bald.

Good morning, My Chihuahua/Min-pin mix (Schlitzy) has been dragging his rear frequently for about 2-3 weeks. A week ago we had his anal glands expressed and the scooting cont'd. I bought an OTC fenbendazole dewormer, a 3 day course, last dose yesterday, yet the scooting is the same! He eats regularly, behaves regularly (other than scooting) and has stools that are solid. They are more more tan/orange-ish than brown and have had noticeable mucous strands. No vomit or diahrea. What else can I do?
