Excellent Dog Toy
This is a great product at an excellent price! My dogs were so happy to have a few of these. They normally annihilate tennis balls in no time, but this one seemed to last a little longer than usual which certainly helps. I couldn't recommend this item more.

Not tough enough
My 60 pound golden retriever broke the ball down in less than five minutes. Inexpensive but just not strong enough.

Not durable enough for strong chewers.
The ball is certainly great for standard use if your dog is just about playing fetch or chasing the ball around. But if your dog is a strong chewer, these tennis balls are not durable. I have a two year old Siberian Husky who loves to chew on things, including her tennis balls after she gets tired of chasing them around. She’s torn several of these Petco tennis balls into pieces in a matter of minutes, versus a gently used regular tennis ball that we found in the yard that took her well over a month to even pierce and split in half. The only reason I keep giving her the Petco tennis balls is because I bought several at once and want to use them up before I buy regular tennis balls. On the plus side, my husky continues to play with the torn up ball even after it’s already been obliterated so she gets at least a solid day out of it.
But otherwise, if you have a strong chewer who likes tennis balls, I suggest just splurging a little for the more durable athletic tennis balls. They’ll last longer.

Is this ball, made with the dye, glue and tennis felt safe for dogs teeth and health?
