I bought this carrier to facilitate my cat's visit to the vet. My other cat has one and if worked fine. Unfortunately the cat resisted and tore one of the handles so the carrier would not close tightly. The product is fine and I would use it again. Maybe a larger, stronger carrier would be better for her since she is a large cat.

Good for one use. My large cat clawed through the holes in minutes. Store clerk also charged me full price instead of the $8 and change online price. I thought there was maybe a size difference that accounted for the price difference, so I didn’t say anything. But I later checked and it was the same item. Same size and everything.

How can you charge $16 for a piece of folded cardboard - these used to cost $3 to $5 at most places! They are only for temp & very short term use & NOT very safe for an active or large cat.At this price may as well spend $10 more & buy a real carrier.

not only does petco overcharge for pet carriers but if you compare them to pet smart they overcharge on everything
