Are these sunflower seeds sterile? Pinyon Jays take them and bury seeds and they grow!
- No they are not. They will germinate.

Can the Kaytee Black Sunflower seeds be pressed and the oil consummed by people or are they treated with pesticides?
- generally, all bird seeds are not safe for human consumption and this is usually stated on the bag, for human consumption there has to be close monitoring for fungus, etc

I bought a wild cocktail recently and he is not eating different food he eats only one food item and he is not even trying seed or corn. I tried to give it in different ways
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her?
