Wet dog's coat thoroughly. Pour this product into the cup of your hand. Starting at the head and working back, work up a lather with this quick lathering formula, being sure that the lather is worked thoroughly into dog's coat down to the skin. Allow lather to stand five minutes, then rinse completely and towel dry. It should not be necessary to repeat the shampoo application unless the animal is excessively dirty. Kills fleas fast and begins to kill ticks within 1 or 2 days; reaching maximum effectiveness in 7 to 10 days. To maintain maximum effectiveness against both fleas and ticks, repeat (or reapply) every week. Cats that actively groom or engage in close physical contact with treated dog may be at risk of serious harmful effect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this shampoo has been great! I noticed improvements a couple of days after the first application, and it’s been consistent since. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t leave much of a greasy residue. The only downside is that it took a little longer than expected to kick in initially. For the ease of use and effectiveness, it’s definitely worth it!

The oatmeal really helps my dog from scratching and biting. I recommend this product for your fur babies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just redid our yard with new dirt and shell and now my two dogs got into the fleas outside in their new dirt. Even the vet noticed the fleas and they were scratching and they told me I needed to help them out so tried this shampoo. It lathered up quickly and my dogs seemed to like it. I am not to my keen on it taking so long to work but I gave it the full five minutes and felt that it did a good job. I’ll have to keep using it and seeing how it continues to work. Very pleasant smell!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend this product after I used it on my standard Poodle who goes outside often enough that I have to give her baths regularly to treat her for fleas from going outside often. This was easy to work thru her curly thick fur and lathered up without any issues when washing her hair. I was able to rinse it out without leaving behind any residue or traces of it on her coat. Once she got out of the tub, I was able to see this worked as it should of by seeing the dirt, fleas, and grime that came off her coat when the water was draining. I also like that it smells good, also her coat was left looking shiny after using!

I want a good coat cleaning shampoo that both cleans odors and treats itchy skin. My dog does not have fleas or ticks thank goodness. Is this still a good product for my 8 year old chocolate lab?
