We have had a few DEAD ticks but no fleas so far. His is primarily an inside dog but does roam around our acreage while looking for the special spot ;) I should also mention he is a short furry heinz 57, Think Corgi but smaller

Fleas love this stuff

Maybe I have different robust fleas here in Los Angeles but I sprayed my dog. They didn't seem to mind it, so I took one of the fleas off and sprayed it directly. Didn't do anything to the flea he was doing just fine after a little bath.

We treated our dogs, our yard and home , dogs are still covered in fleas the product didnt work at all , then we noticed a raw spot on our tuckers neck right where we applied the flea product, he is miserable and yelps when you go to clean the area , definitely wouldn't recommend

I've been using petarmor for quite a few years now, and not ever an issue, would find a dead flea once in a while. now this new order I received, first dose and both my dogs are having anywhere from 4-7 fleas everyday on each of them. I've had my yard sprayed, I bathe my dogs regularly , they only go outside to potty. So i a at wits end with why the petarmor is not working !!! I was told it expires, but I read all over that it does not !! so very frustrated , needless to say...

This slowed the fleas down but I was still finding them on my pets after a week and they never stopped scratching. I sprayed the whole house and treated all my pets. I realize I might have messed up the application but I don’t think I did. Either way I returned it and got something stronger.

No, I do not recommend this product.

PetArmor topical products work on contact, which is why it's common to see "more fleas" after application. If you have any PetArmor product related questions, please contact 1-888-908-8425 and we would be happy to address.<!--[if ReviewResponse]><![endif]-->

Combine Seresto with PetArmor Plus?

 1. I wouldn't recommend doing this without consulting your vet. Our corgi couldn't tolerate the Seresto collar.

how long after applying petarmor will the dogs find relief ?

 1. 24 hours for full relief because body oil spreads it all over. Don't bother to use 2 days prior to or after bathing because body needs the oil.

Will PetArmour control or kill flea eggs?

 1. No, it only kills adult fleas, not "flea development" which is the egg and larvae cycle. The Pet Armor Plus does. They have a comparison chart here: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/article.cfm?aid=325

My shitzu had a bad twitching reaction to parastar plus..before that I always used frontline with no problem in 7 years. I need a comparable product

 1. I also used frontline for my dogs for years bbut when the price went up I tried Armor and it works just as well

What is the name of the company that actually produces Armourguard & what are their quality control standards??

 1. You can look up ArmorGuard on the internet and that should provide most of the information. I am not completely comfortable with any pet flea product but all in all this probably is as safe as most.
