Stopped our male dog from bleeding

I have a 11 to 12 year old male mixed breed dog, possibly a Cockadoodle, that has been bleeding from his private area off and on for the past year. The bleeding worsens after he has eaten raw vegetables or acidic fruits, like apples. I've treated him in the past with antibiotics and while that usually works for a while, the bleeding eventually returns and is accompanied by frequent and scanty urination. I also think it's painful for my dog to eat a large or heavy meal because it seems to sit on his bladder adding pressure to prostate, which in turn contributes to the bleeding. I've started giving him 5 drops of the PetAlive ProsPet liquid drops once a day (despite the directions saying it should be given multiple times) and already the bleeding has stopped. We will increase the dose if necessary, but as for now, what we are giving him seems to be working and we have noticed that he's happier and is licking his private area a lot less. I would definitely recommend this product as a first line treatment option for male bleeding/prostate issues, but still consult with a veterinarian if the problem persists or worsens.

Not diagnosed prostate issues with my 5yo intact American bulldog but he started having trouble urinating. Slow to start and seemed to actually have to try to get out even just a few drops. Once he started though he was good. My vet had told us before that he may start to have prostate problems around age 5 because he isn't neutered. I started giving him this and he no longer has any issues urinating. Started working within a week.
