Angel, 14 year old + my cat, hAs been diagnosed with pancreatitis. Rx budnesodide and ondansatron. Still losing weight, vomiting some, good appetite, loose smelly stools. Please tell me about digestive enzyme product.
My dog currently has pancreatitis along with heart disease. Trying to feed him low fat food but what exactly happens during pancreatitis? Does food not get digested properly? Should I be giving him a multivitamin that includes digestive enzymes like amilayse and lipase? Or would that hurt his pancreas since the lipase enzyme levels were already high on his blood test??
My dog has pancreatitis and is on a liquid diet. Can I continue to give her medication or will this upset her stomach. 2 antibiotics and Pepcid, and pain medication.

I say a big, strong and mighty thank you to everyone at Petcoach for helping and guiding me to get the best healthcare for my pet having answered all my questions. Thank you. My vet came to take Stephanie's blood so to do a complete blood work and realised her blood pressure is very very low. My vet recommended hatchwell canovel condition tablets. I cannot find any information anywhere about the vitamin and nutritional composition of the product. Is it any good and are there alternatives?
Capone has had chronic pancreatitis for 2 years started on prescription food but did not do well. I home cook for him combinations of oatmeal blueberries skinless chicken breast beef liver lean hamburger meat broccoli cauliflower sweet potatos squash chicken broth Etc in 5 small meals per day equal to the intake for a dog his size but because of the low fat content he continues to lose weight. is there a whey protein or something I can safely add to his food to help him gain weight back?
Our miniature schnauzer was just diagnosed with pancreatitis and is being treated. Diet is one of the major concerns for her. Eating has significantly changed. Can we prepare food that may be better received than store [Rx} brands? Thank you.
How can I keep my aging dogs organs (kidney, liver, heart, lungs, intestines....) healthy and functioning properly?
Hi! My pet was recently diagnosed with Enlarged Heart and the vet we consulted prescribed Furosemide (40mg) and Enalapril (5mg) 2x a day. The vet also prescribed Royal Canin "Satiety" for weight loss and low sodium. I am wondering if I can give my dog a natural diet in conjunction with the medication and a little of the kibble. I have been doing a lot of research and want to blend kale, spinach and brocolli and othervegetables to give to my pet. do you recommend Fish Oil too? Let me know thanks.
my cat is diabetic and has a heart murmur he's on vetmedin and enalapril, b-complex liquid vitamins, zobalin for diabetic cats and cosequin he has a cough due to the heart murmur what can i give him that's natural at home?
My 10yr old maltipoo has a mildly elevated ALT level (it was 167 in May, 197 in August, and is now 219 in October). He has been on Denamarin for two months (during that time the values increased from 197 to 219). We make his food (50% ground turkey / 50% kale/spinach/green beans/zucchini/carrots) and he also gets half of a Stella & Chewy freeze dried chicken patty at end of day. No treats other than cucumber or carrot. He happy/active and has no bad symptoms. Any ideas what could help this?
