Do you know of any natural remedies for reversing kidney disease? My dog was just diagnosed with Kidney disease, and he is 14 years old. Are there supplements or food I can give him? Is excise good for him? He is losing weight, and his breath smells pretty bad. He just started taking a daily probiotic, detox pill, and eats FreshPet. He has been on sodium chloride 0.9% subcutaneous fluids of 500 mL per day for about a week and a half. Included pictures of his blood work. Thank you so much!

What's the healthiest brand for wet and dry food? She is currently eating Nutrish dry and Special Kitty canned. I would like a brand that supports overall health and wellness. Hi there’s a product on amazon called kidney shield that neither my vet nor PetCoach recommend or was familiar with but my clinic says they have an Rx version of it I could try. I didn’t catch the name (maybe started with a V) and wonder if you know what it is if it’s commonly used for kidney health. I think it’s an omega 3 type supplement.. is that used for kidney health? Hi today my vet prescribed Vetoquinol Care triglyceride omega liquid supplement for kidney health. Tony doesn’t like kidney food so combined with his phosphorus binder we are trying the omega liquid in his diet. Earlier a PetCoach vet suggested some other supplements- vetriscience omega 3 6 9, azodyl & standard process renal support. Are these similar supplements to the Vetoquinol omega or should they be used in addition to Vetoquinol? Thx

Hello, Is this joint supplement good for my cat, sweetie to try with a little salomn oil? The Chondroitin in it is made of shark cartilage. I sadly can not use cosequin on her because sweetie is sensitive to chrondroitin made of porcine or beef cartilage which is why I am considering this one. Hello, my three year old cat has seen a vet and is diagnosed with Kidney Failure. The vet recommends I only feed him a RX strength K/D diet, along with doing fluid treatment. Loki will eat some RX food, but is begging for his organic foods. He doesn't allow me to do fluid treatment (even when I have someone help me to hold him). Loki is now becoming behavioral at home. Is it okay to provide half RX food and half organic food with this Kidney Support Gold (see pic) instead of the fluid treatment?
