Hi! We have this cat room (pictures attached) because they don't get along with Pharah. Is the cat room okay? We can't really afford any cat "furniture" right now or the doggy gates so we have a long chair in front. Dog doesn't go there and cats can still see the living room. Is the placement of food (on top of the table) and litter (under table next to each other) good? Should we add more things to the room? Also they only go out of the room when dog is away, like walks.
We recently got an electronic doggie door. While we are training them we have it set to unlocked. Our 50-pound lab mix has pretty much figured it out. However we also have midna the Chiweenie she is scared of the door I think so because we had to buy it says for the bigger dog and every time she considers going through right after Sarah it smacks her in the face. It is light enough for her to push it open if she decides to they both had the same training when we first got it but she refuses
We are housebound due to heavy snow in Virginia. My newly adoted dog will NOT go outside. She is a bulldog mix and the snow is deeper than she is tall. We have put pee pads down, even though she has never used the bathroom indoors (we brought her home Oct 23rd). My 3 month old pup seems to have separation anxiety. My boyfriend and I both work during the day, one of us coming home at lunch to walk her. During the time we are not at the house we put her in a kennel. She barks constantly and has accidents in her kennel. I wanted to get her a gated off play-pen that i could leave her in while we are at work. I figured it is more room to let her roam around a bit and I can put her favorite bed/ toys for comfort. Is this a bad or good idea for a young puppy?
