Excellent for Older Dogs

I began giving these to my two senior pitties when they both began to have digestive issues and occasional lack of appetite. Just like people, when dogs age they produce fewer digestive enzymes and have more frequent stomach and digestive problems. These daily chews work great. Sadly, my 14+ year old dog died last spring but my 17+ year old dog is still doing quite well, for an old girl! I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been giving this to my Australian Shepherd and have used the whole bottle. I have noticed little changes in him. I have noticed it has kept him more regular and he hasn't had any bouts of diarrhea and he seems to digest his food better. I am also seeing a little change in his coat. I don't know if it's just coincidence, but his coat looks shinier and smoother than before he started taking these pills. I am definitely going to continue to give it to him and hopefully can give a better review on the product. As of now, I do recommend this to anyone to try. This review was given as I received a sample from Viewpoints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the pet naturals probiotic sample to review a few weeks ago. I've been giving them to my dogs for 2 weeks and I can honestly say that they have been going to the bathroom much easier. I will say my dogs are on the smaller size, one is 8 lbs and one is 7 lbs. With them being smaller I have to break them up because of the recommended serving size per weight breakdown. Other than that, they seem to stay fresh in the container and my dogs have no resistance to taking them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 50 lb lab puppy so she got two of the probiotics/day. She loved them so much that we used them as a treat for her morning and evening walks. I didn't notice any difference in her bathroom habits, which is a good thing since she's pretty regular (i.e. this didn't cause any unexpected accidents). She really seemed to enjoy the probiotics and I enjoyed that I was giving her something healthy as a treat

So I figured her digestive system could use some help. My black lab mix enjoyed eating these tablets. The duck flavor was appealing to her. She seems more energetic since she started taking them and has had regular bowel movements. I would recommend this and I plan on continuing using it. Though I received this for free these opinions are 100 percent my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, my dog would not eat these. He seemed interested and was sniffing the chew when I tried to give it to him, but after he took it, he spit it right back out, and then I could not get him interested again. I tried a few times, but he just was not interested in the flavor of these. I've read a lot about the benefits of probiotics for dogs, so I wish he would eat these! I ended up giving this bottle to my parents for their dog, and their dog seems to enjoy these. My mom says she hasn't noticed any difference in her dog's digestion though. Overall, it seems these would probably be good for dogs who aren't typically picky eaters.

Thank you for your feedback. Although we pride ourselves on high palatability ratings, some pets may not like the taste of our chews. We've found from some of our consumers that mixing with food (wet food works well), topping chews with a little peanut butter or cheese, or even putting the supplement in a favorite treat bag, shaking, and then administering often help with getting pets to try our products if they weren't initially interested in them. Hopefully this works for you and your dog in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a purebred dog, they seem to come with issues. I feel good about giving him this probotic. My dog is usually pretty picky when it comes to taking certain vitamins for his health. I don't have to cover this one up in lunchmeat. He always sits nicely to take his daily dose. So far he really enjoys this as a "treat". I've noticed he hasn't been as gassy as of lately which is a plus for all of us living with him and has been keeping him regular. Great probiotic!
