WI'll our cat be ok if left alone for a week? He has a large water fountain and an automatic food dispenser. We just moved to a new city and are going home for the holidays, but don't know anyone who could come by and check on him. And most pet sitting services were booked because it's Christmas.

Should I purchase a water fountain for my dog? She does drink on her own several times a day. But that sounds like a good idea. Does it really encourage them to drink more water? Is it easy to clean? My baby drinks so water a day, he goes thru 2 automatic water dispensers in a day, he has started peeing,pooing in the living room extra dining area and hallway leading to his personal bathroom with 3 litter boxes he fills his litter boxes within a day after they are changed, (I have started looking for automatic kitty litter changers) he eats only cat food and he fills his boxes up quick, I'm at a loss on what to do I'm worried about my baby please help if he has diabetes can he die? Hello, A couple of days ago, i began to see my cat pawing at her water bowl instead of drinking from it. What concerns me is that i’m not sure when this habit started, i am afraid she hasn’t been drinking enought water as she’s supposed to. I suspect she has diarrhea, because when she’d do her business in the litter box i’d see wet poop stains on the carpet. I have currently bought a water fountain, if that changes anything. Is there another way i can ensure my cat is drinking enough water?
Hi! I just adopted a 5 month old kitten with CH. I've had him for two days, and have not been able to get him to drink water from a bowl. I've tried several types of bowls with no luck. I've been adding extra water to his wet food in the meantime, which he eats just fine, but I don't think that's an ideal solution long-term. He has a vet appointment next week, but any help in the meantime would be appreciated.
