What kind of water fountain i can get for my cat?
My cat refuses to drink from his automatic water fountain and is only interested in the toilet
Hi! I am a college student working on a "smart" dog food bowl. Our project aims to address epidemic of dog obesity, as 56% of dogs are overweight; this statistic indicates that there is room in the market for a food monitoring solution that would improve pet health in the long-run. The bowl would come equipped with a scale/sensor connected to an application that recommends servings. Do you think both water and food should be weighed? Or just food? Is there a value in weighing water like food?
Should I purchase a water fountain for my dog? She does drink on her own several times a day. But that sounds like a good idea. Does it really encourage them to drink more water? Is it easy to clean? I currently like to wash my dogs water bowl daily with warm water and soap. Would this be doable with a water fountain? thanks!

Hi! I just adopted a 5 month old kitten with CH. I've had him for two days, and have not been able to get him to drink water from a bowl. I've tried several types of bowls with no luck. I've been adding extra water to his wet food in the meantime, which he eats just fine, but I don't think that's an ideal solution long-term. Hello, A couple of days ago, i began to see my cat pawing at her water bowl instead of drinking from it. What concerns me is that i’m not sure when this habit started, i am afraid she hasn’t been drinking enought water as she’s supposed to. I suspect she has diarrhea, because when she’d do her business in the litter box i’d see wet poop stains on the carpet. I have currently bought a water fountain, if that changes anything. Is there another way i can ensure my cat is drinking enough water?

My poor Kitty started on a new Heart med called amlodipine 2.5 mg (1/2 tab) I don’t think he’s lathagic but he sure isn’t drinking much water. He was just diagnosed with Moderate cardiac myopathy. He had a drink well drinking fountain but I was tired replacing them..had it for years. Am I stuck supplying fountains? Or is something wrong?
