my dog loves this thing, but the straps are velcroed together, so they are constantly coming apart. it's also nearly impossible to pull it taught enough without the other velcro straps becoming undone. i tried crazy glue, but that didn't work. i had to use an industrial stapler to attach the velcro, but after a year, it ended up coming apart again. it would be great if it was sewn shut and you could just insert the strap into the hooks or it it came pre-assembled with sufficient tension to make it work as a hammock. had to do a lot of tinkering for it to work given the price.

Bought this for my older cat as a third birthday present. The hammock is really easy to put together and great quality. My cat didn't quite know what to make of this but on the second day with the placement of a couple treats here and there on the hammock she now loves it and naps on it in the middle of the day. She also slept on it for part of the night so love it!
