I have a long haired elderly maincoon/tabby mix with mats all over his body because he is too overweight to reach them and honestly doesnt even try. Is there some product we can use to help him out? Shedding brushes are useless at this point and we've nearly resorted to a professional groomer.
I read that Ragdoll cats are fairly low shed bc they don't have an undercoat. I was wondering if the combination of one of these products & a low shedding cat would make them almost allergy free? Hello, I have had my beloved cat, Lolly, since kindergarten making her 17 years of age. Recently I retrieved her from my mother's house and noticed her unkempt hair. She now has a surfeit of tangled clumps of matted fur varying in size. How should I proceed, are there any special shampoos or products that would help? I heard they are not supposed to be cut off.
