Soft Claws Dog Paw & Nail Care
My cat, who will be 20 in March, has had scabs on her heels/elbows, they were bleeding, she kept licking them. Wearing doggie socks (ends cut off) has helped , but they are healing slowly.
My dog is old and has had several bad falls now on our laminate and tile floors. She just needs some traction to prevent her from slipping. There are many dog boots out there for hiking and what not. They seem like they would help her from slipping on the floor. Could she wear boots like that 24/7? Or at least most of the day? I could also buy a paw cream as well to prevent bad rubbing. Do you know of any boots specifically made for constant use? Or any other products she could benefit from?
My 12year old lab is getting weak in the legs and slips on our wood and tile floors. Is there a product to help her? She won’t wear booties.
What are some affordable high quality dog boots you would recommend for good foot protection? Im trying to find foot protection that won't annoy my dog. Thanks
Do I need to buy protective boots for my dog for winter walks?
I live in Chicago where it gets really cold in the winter. My puppy is small to medium size. Should I consider in getting her dog booties and coat/ jacket for the winter? Or would she be fine in the winter?

My Chow Chow has developed really raw paw pads. Painful for her to walk on. I have no idea what it is, and the vets said nothing but gave her an antibiotic. I've put baby socks on her with ointment, but I'm not sure if I'm helping or harming the healing process because I have no idea what this is! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I'm desperate!
Can I prevent these? Do these cause my pet pain to walk? The spots are between his fingers (?). I've attached photos. There's never been any blood, although it was a slightly brighter red earlier. His paws themselves also have some visible cracks (maybe 1 -2 out of the 16 finger paw pads). It's hot and humid where I live, although I always test the concrete and go early/late in the day for walks. There are also sometimes spikey burrs from plants on the ground, though they're more rare.
Good Evening, I just noticed that my dogs paw is red on the pads. She is limping like it hurts. It’s only on back paws. I’m in NY visiting from NC. It’s not bleeding just red and irritated. What can I get to relieve her. Should I purchase gauze and ace bandage? Please help!
MY DOGS FEET ARE RED AND RAW HE KEEPS LICKING THEM SO MUCH THAT THEY HAVE STARTED TO BLEED. I BOUGHT SOFT CLOTH WRAPS AND WRAPPED HIS FEET BUT IM NOT SURE IF THERES SOMETHING MORE I SHOULD BE DOING.
