When the raincoat arrived, it looked very nice. But when I attempted to release the Velcro strip that is supposed to ride under the dogs belly, the top of the left side began to rip away from the coat itself. It was poorly stitched, and when I held the thread in my fingers and just lightly pulled, it began to unravel all the way down the coat. I had to partially sew it back on before it could be used. I expect to do a better and more thorough job of re-stitching the Velcro, but I didn’t have time this evening for that. In addition, even though I measured my dog according to the measurements on the webpage. The chest and front leg sleeves were much larger than described online. It’s too large for him through the chest and the two front legs. But, since I have to do some more sewing to secure the Velcro on the underbelly, i’m going to try to do a little bit of altering on the coat, both at the armpits & down each front leg and the sides of both shoulders.
