I am currently in Korea (visiting) when I found a dog I adopted (my intention was to adopt a small dog). I am returning to America next week. Shami will have to be in cargo for about 15 hours. I am so worried. We went to the vet and got an all clear and got her a cage (big enough for her). What can I do to make her flight comfortable? I already know to add food, water, pee pads. What else? A cooling mat? Toys? What can I do to put her at ease? I am really worried she won't make it.
is it advisable for dogs to take calming/relaxing treat or pill for air travel? dog is 1yr and 8 months, 37 lbs, will be in the cargo area. flight will be 10-11 hrs and then i get to see her at arrival and then we will have another flight for 1 hr.

Hi, I have a Yorkshire terrier, she is just over 6lbs, who will be flying with me on an airplane. She is my emotional support animal but after recently flying I believe she needs the support. She has terrible anxiety and we will be flying to Florida which is about a 2 hour flight. What can I give her to keep her from shaking and panting the whole flight? I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
