Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.
we have a 20 pound rat terrier mix in excellent health, not overweight. She is 11 yrs old and we were trying to fin d a carrier like a backpack to put her in for our long walks, when she gets tired. There are so many to choose from. I like the ones that we strap on the front of the human, and her legs stick out at the top and bottom just like a real baby. However I am concerned that the position might put too much pressure on her back end. What can you recommend?
I am currently in Korea (visiting) when I found a dog I adopted (my intention was to adopt a small dog). I am returning to America next week. Shami will have to be in cargo for about 15 hours. I am so worried. We went to the vet and got an all clear and got her a cage (big enough for her). What can I do to make her flight comfortable? I already know to add food, water, pee pads. What else? A cooling mat? Toys? What can I do to put her at ease? I am really worried she won't make it.
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
is it advisable for dogs to take calming/relaxing treat or pill for air travel? dog is 1yr and 8 months, 37 lbs, will be in the cargo area. flight will be 10-11 hrs and then i get to see her at arrival and then we will have another flight for 1 hr.
I have a 8 week old boxer puppy that we will be flying with tomorrow via carry on. Is there anything I can give her to help keep her calm while flying?
I’m traveling with my pet during the holidays. Is It safe to fly? What should I pack to make sure they are comfortable?
Hello, I will be bringing my puppy from my hometown soon. Its approx a 2 and a half hour flight. He was born a week ago and is an american bully. Can you tell me at what age it is safest for him to be on a plane? And is it safer for him to be with me as a cabin bag under my seat or under the plane as checked? Thank you
Hi, I have a Yorkshire terrier, she is just over 6lbs, who will be flying with me on an airplane. She is my emotional support animal but after recently flying I believe she needs the support. She has terrible anxiety and we will be flying to Florida which is about a 2 hour flight. What can I give her to keep her from shaking and panting the whole flight? (recently did this on a flight from Paris to NYC for 8 hours)
I really need to know if I can take my puppy with me in his carrier when I go to certain places.Mighty is a month with his first set of shots, I leave him alone often because I’m not sure if I can travel with him in his carrier. He is a dachshund and Maltese mix.
Is it safe that i will travel with my 2 month old puppy in a bus without a crate?
My friend has a 20 pound, almost 3-year old black cat, "Henry". I love this cat sooooooo much. He wants to bring Henry with his on a round-trip flight from Boston to San Francisco. Henry has never been on a plane, is unfamiliar with carriers, etc. I worry about the stress he will have to endure to make this 7-hour flight. Am I making too much out of this?!? The vet gave Henry a clean bill of health, last week. My buddy doesn't seem worried, I am very worried. Should I be worried??????
