The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I can't speak to the quality over time, as I've only had the IGO2 Traveler Plus for less than a week. I have a Chihuahua and a Grey Tabby. I bought this to be able to transport the both of them to the vet safely. Though I haven't gotten bothoif them in it at the same time yet, I think they'll fit comfortably, though they won't be able to lay down, which I knew before I bought it. However, if only one of them is in the carrier, he can lay down comfortably, which will be great for Chewy (Chihuahua) since I like to take him everywhere with me. Another plus with this item is that when I take Chewy for walks, I can also take Binx (cat) in the backpack so he can enjoy some fresh air too. He used to be an outdoor cat but we live in the country (coyotes, cougars, bobcats, Hawks, great horned owls and eagles are all local predators) so we decided it would be in his best interest (not to mention the best interest of birds and bunnies) to be an indoor cat. But he misses the outdoors so I'd like to be able to give him a way to still experience it while keeping him and local wildlife safe. One thing I would like, is a way to lock the zippers in place to prevent escapes. You know cats are professional escape artists. I will have to use Binx's harness and the included tether to make sure he can't escape, even if he can get the zipper open. And I plan to purchase some small padlocks like you'd use for luggage to try to lock the zipper. The pockets on the side don't provide a lot of room to put things in, as they open like a 'V' from the carrier. The sides seem sturdy, the wheels roll smoothly, the handle comes up enough for me (I'm 5'5") to roll it comfortably and the backpack is comfortable to wear, even though it's large. I haven't tried carrying the dog or cat in it yet while wearing it in the backpack but I think they'd be more comfortable and upright that way than carrying by the handle. It tips forward a lot when you pick it up by the handle. But with the shoulder strap, wheels and backpack options, the handle isn't an issue. I think we'll get a lot of good use out of this carrier. Appear well made. Have not used them yet. Giant cats enjoy being inside them.

It has just arrived. I think it will work out ok but it is not the correct sized dimensions described online. States height 22 inches - correct if you count the wheel area but the area for pet is 20 inch height. States width is 13.5 inches- which it is at the bottom but it does narrow a bit since the front is angled. It is the "length" measurement that is way off. It is not 22 inches but barely 16.25 inches & more like 16. My dog is 20" from base of tail to nose, so he is going to have to curl up in there. Still deciding whether to keep it.

I bought this about a month ago and my dog loves it. We have a dog that is 12 yr. old and she gets tired easily, now when she gets tired of walking she can ride or roll! I made a pillow for the bottom to make it softer for her.

I purchase this item so I could take my dog with me on an airplane. I changed my mind and drove my car using this product as a dog seat. My dog had outgrown the seat I had for him. This seat worked so much better. My dog remained in the seat the entire trip, 1,800 miles. When we stopped for the evening or needed to take a break, he didn't offer any resistance in getting back into the seal. He seemed to be very comfortable both when laying down and sitting to watch the view.

I have a 16 pound dog and wondered if this pack would be big enough or too big and bulky and look stupid. It is great! My dog likes riding around in it and it is roomy enough for her to be comfortable (she can' really lie down in it, but doesn't need to). It adjusts well. The shoulder straps could use some padding and maybe a little padding or something on the back but I would buy it all over again if I had too.. Worth the money.
