I first submitted a review when emailed to complete it without yet receiving my item. Well I did receive my item and PetCo was kind enough to send me the wrong color, I have a male cat who likes dark colors and was sent a night pink one. Highly dissatisfied for being sent the incorrect item but since I go out of town in a few days I don’t have time to drive an hour and a half to the nearest store to exchange or even send it back. This annoying mishap makes me nervous that they’ll do it again on future online purchases that I a, considering shopping elsewhere.

Our adventure cat loves this new backpack! Light and breathable for summer and he can ride with the door open but still be secured by buckling his harness inside.

Works great for my small Jack Russel/Poodle Mix (about 8 pds). He loves it for bike rides!

The bag is very narrow and my 6 pound puppy looked cramped inside. Also, a little uncomfortable to use as a backpack carrier.

It's too big. This is 19x19x9. US airlines max out at 17. Will NOT fit under a seat.

My toy poodle is ten pounds. The escort is more than large enough for him to comfortably relax and stretch out. The front zips open all around. Easy entry, easy exit. Great for car trips and fits under the seat for flights. Well built with all safety features. Inside clip, seatbelt tabs. The handle works smoothly, the backpack straps are comfortable. He hides his favorite toys inside!

I would have liked to have gotten the larger size just for my dog's comfort, but this was the one that met the airline's requirements. It is perfect because I can use it on the plane and then as a backpack when we go sightseeing. Nicely made, good weight, very versatile. Just what I needed!

This carrier is well worth its price. It's very durable with quality materials, the design is very well thought out. I love that it can expand on each side and that it has a wheel cover so you don't get outside dirt on your car/home. The rolling and backpack options are much more back friendly (especially if your dog/cat is 15+ lbs). I fly about twice a year with my lg Maine Coon, he fits comfortably and loves this carrier - and even curls up in it for naps since we got back from our recent trip! His previous carrier was a similar design, but this one is just SO much better (quality, shape, features), it looks great, falls within the carrier size requirements for the airlines I use and for what you're getting, it's a very reasonable price. Also, very impressed w/ Petco's uber-speedy shipping of it. A must have if you travel with your pet.
