The I-GO 2 is very nice but it is for up to 25lbs dog. my dog weighs 18lbs and just fits but not with a lot of room. The back pack is good size but a dog like mine (a West Highland White Terrier ) needs to stick his head out the door flap. A zipper that locks would be a lot better, but I'm going to have to figure it out for my self.

It is a nice product, but It needs to be a little deeper. I have a 7lb dog that is a little squished in it. What would have made this even better would have been pannier mounting brackets or at least the ability to attach them so you could use this on a bike.

I am interested in the I-g02 pet gear escort to use on an airplane BUT the dimmensions given are for upgright? what is ACTUAL height when layed down?

If you plan on flying with Pet Gear carriers, we recommend that you check with your airline to make sure it will fit under the seat. The Escort measures 14"L x 9"W x 19"H.
