Good product, not recommended for giant breeds
Bought this for my aging English Mastiff. Product says 300lbs, my guy is 219lbs. The pitch is too dramatic needs to be longer and more gradual. It will turn over if your dog twists or hesitates. I bought it for the width, widest available but still narrow for an EM. My guy does not trust it. Wasted money for us. Definitely recommend it for smaller dogs.

Mine won't use as a ramp.
It's sturdy, but she wouldn't use it. I wound up switching to a platform bed and I keep this ramp folded up next to it and she uses it as a step. I had hoped I'd at least be able to use it to get her in the car but it's too wide as a ramp... I may be able to use it as a step there too, but haven't tried yet. So basically I have a very expensive step/stool.

Good product
This ramp works well for my 160lb Great Pry however it is very heavy for me to deal with. I cringe actually when we have to use it because it folds 3 times and i'm always afraid i'm going to catch a finger in there. Very sturdy though, nice surface so the dog never slips. I wish it had sides on it because shes has gone off the side once. Its big and bulky and hard to get in the car with the dog when doing to the vet etc.

Very Good Ramp
Only reason for 4 stars is I wish it was a few inches taller. Otherwise, it’s perfect for my dogs and cat to get up on my high bed. Love that it’s already put together. Very sturdy.

Golden worthy!
I bought this because our new SUV is pretty tall and I didn't want my Golden to leap out of it. I like this style because I didn't want to attach anything to the vehicle and this is self standing. Once our golden realized this was for him he does fine with it.

Easy to set up outside of my car, and easy to fold back together afterwards. Fits nicely in my trunk. A bit heavy, but manageable. Sandpaper covering allows my 120 lb dog not to slip.

Why isn't this ramp manufactured with supertrax fabric? I bought Petgear "stramps" with supertrax and my dog easily runs up and down as the fabric is comfortable and nonslip.

- The coating is substandard, it hurt my dog's paws. Dont wast your money. I put towels on it and he slipped. Wont go near it.

Will this work to get into the backseat of a car? Specifically he has a Subaru outback. The door opens around 60 degreesn

Can this ramp be used for my dog to get up and down off my bed ?she has arthritis
- Yes it could. I use mine for my Lab getting in and out of my truck back seat. It is 23" at the highest point/top, so you should measure for your bed. I also put a towel over the ramp, because sometimes he doesn't like the sandpaper material they have on top for traction. It's a good, sturdy ramp.

Is ramp weather resistant?
- I purchased this ramp, and it was all I could have hoped for. To address your question, the ramp is thick plastic, with the face being a sanded like material for traction. The hinges are painted steel. I would definitely consider it weather resistant/proof, and believe it would do well if outside full time at least for a longer time than most other ramps on the market. The things I love 1. Beyond steady in both structure and material. My dog is 70lb, but the ramp could easily handle heavier w/ no chance of collapsing, sliding, falling over, etc... 2. The face is the sanded material as mention, so I don't have to worry about cleaning off dirt, mud, etc..., or removing hair and lint as would be the case if it was a fabric face. 3. Folds easily as shown on the website, and can be stored in my vehicle w/o taking up too much space.
