Exactly what we were looking for to assist our 13 year old in getting into the car. She learned very quickly how much it helps her and only needed a little coaxing with treats the first couple times we used it. This stair is wide and stable with a slight incline. My 12-lb dog has joint problems, and this stair allows him to easily get on and off the couch. The stair has a big footprint and isn't terribly attractive, but it does what it's supposed to do. I'm buying another one for our second couch.

My bed is 30" from floor to top of mattress. Is this adjustable? What's the height at highest point?

The petgear easy step is not adjustable. I use it to bridge the gap between the ground floor to the car for my scaredy-cat lazy mastiff. Otherwise she'll put her front paws on the car seat and wait for me to lift her butt up. She's 130 lbs, so it's not easy to lift her. I found this to be a lifesaver.

Mine is a ramp - one step that gradually goes higher. What part do you need the height from? My dog uses better than the steps
