We bought this crate a couple of years ago and I should have written a review then. The clasps have all broken off and we have to use twine to keep it closed. For the price the quality was lacking

No, I do not recommend this product.

Is this approved for airline travel? Will need to have my dog as cargo as he’s too big for cabin.

    I wouldn’t trust it for airline travel. It’s pretty sturdy, but keep in mind it is collapsible. But check with the manufacturer. It’s also much heavier than an airline rated kennel.

Why is this tan/black crate so much cheaper than the other 2 colors of the pet gear, other door crates? Is there a difference between them? Besides the color? Is the tan/black a different model? Thank you

    The tan steel crates are a basic model. They do not come with a bolster pad.
