These steps are made ok, but they came a little bent, and they are very steep for small dogs. Not sure if they would be good for any pet over 50 pounds.

I think this is a well built product and would probably work for most dogs. I bought it for my 20 year old wobbly cat and it is much too steep. I got her to use them a few times but I could just see she was terrified, mostly going down them. I can see why, when you look at it from the bottom the angle is pretty intense for a small animal. If you have a bigger dog or a more agile cat, I think it would work. She is small and these are very tall, which I need, she insists on being on my bed but the angle is too much for her. I wouldn't hesitate to try them for your pet. My bed is higher than I can help, she uses a small cat condo, onto a low chair, and then onto the bed. It is a bit tough still so I purchased these to help but I am returning.

I had to return this product as it was too tall for the bed. I ordered the same model only a 3 step. I was pleased with the steps and it was easy to assemble. I am anxious to receive the 3 step to see if my dog likes. The chocolate is darker than I would have liked.

My dogs have never used stairs before, but I am having major surgery and will not be able to lift them in and out of bed! These are the perfect height,and easy to assemble! Dogs are in training!

Husband and I purchased a new bed that was taller than our last one and the poms were struggling to get on it with the old steps. once we put together these new steps,it's like a speedway for them up and down.

Although, it's the right height for my dog to climb up on the bed, the stability is my only complaint. I had to go and buy a rug to put under and it still wobbles a little. Not as sturdy as wooden stairs. But it works. My dog is going up and down finally on her own....but, slow.

It a nice piece and is high, going to my bedroom window. I want stairs high so the Orange Gang may stop using my furnture. They took to use the stairs right away. Rita is the only one who has not try the stairs and she is the number one reason I want to get the steps. She had deep inner ear problem at one time, so now getting up to the window she cannot do. The stairs need to longer and bigger and more of a deeper cover on them.

My dog weighs about 5.5 pounds and she isn't going to get any bigger. I'm trying to find something that would help her get on the bed which is 30 in. high from the floor.

Pet Gear Easy Step IV step height is 6". The top step has a depth of 9.5", 2nd step depth is 9", 3rd step depth is 8.5", 4th step depth is 8.5".

I have a jack russell who likes to sit and watch out the window and I would like some stairs he can walk up and sit on top.window is 31 inches high.

The top step is flat but there isn't a ton of room to lay down. It is likely that it wouldn't be terribly comfortable for your jack russell.
