Not meant for dogs with short legs

They are a little higher then my previous steps but easy to clean. My only concern is the slant as my older dog has stumbled getting down. My chihuahuas handle them perfectly but my older dachshund struggles as her legs are much shorter.

Ordered this for my two small dogs. One has a back problem and cant get on the couch. It was very easy to assemble and feels quite sturdy. You can move it around the house to other rooms and it's exactly the height of my couch. Both dogs learned the steps easy! I like the color too...its very neutral so it looks good in the room.

We got t his Pet Gear Chocolate Easy Step II for our 4.5 yr old Shih tzu who had Disc surgery about 2 months ago. Although each step is a little higher than we would like, They are NOT steep and work well for that long body. The steps take up little room. It is very light an easy to move. Easy to put together, (my 13 year old did it).

Very thoughtful design. The steps are wide and slightly slanted which makes it easy for my dachsund to use. Sturdy contruction, easy to assemble.

I have a yorkie and the steps were the right height for him. The pad on each step keep him from sliding when he goes up and down and each step is wide and deep enough he can even sit on them.

- I don't have a ruler but my guess is 8 inches. They don't use their whole body to go up them i noticed. They propel themselves and mostly just her feet touch.
