Based on the reviews that were posted, I decided to purchase this cone for my 65 lb American Bulldog who licks her paws due to allergies. The online reviews are all positive so I guess I'm going to be the only one out here to post a negative review. We use cones all the time and this one is the worst we've had so far. It's flimsy and didn't prevent our dog from licking her front paws. I would not recommend it. Please do not waste your money if you need something more sturdy!

I bought this because our little rescue dog was starting to nip and we wanted to end this behavior quickly. This protection shield would easily work for keeping a pet from biting or licking a healing wound as well. I was pleased with the quality for the price.

I really like this collar. My Persian has autoimmune disease which causes itchiness and raw areas. Her old collar was a soft plasticized one and she licked it until i was afraid she was ingesting the coating. This collar eliminated that concern, the plastic is smooth and solid. On the old collar the ties would come lose and she would get her leg caught trying to get it off. This collar stays on! It fits snuggly with two fingers of room on the smallest setting. The series of snap adjustments mean I can use it for another cat if I need to, I even tried it on my big tom. It wipes clean quickly, too. It gets a lot of use and it's holding up very well. I would highly recommend it.

We were searching for a larger "cone" for our Springer Spaniel. All local pet stores carried small sizes. We ordered x-large and it was so tiny it world fit a Yorkie

If your pet fits the dimensions of this product comfortably when the product is fully assembled, the product will support the weight of the pet. For small pets only. Medium interior dimensions: 13.5"L x 9.5"W x 3"H. Large interior dimensions: 17.75"L x 12.5"W x 4"H. This can be used as a car seat. All you have to do is to take your seat belt and place it underneath booster and insert latch plate into buckle until you hear a click.

Yes it will fit in your Prius, however you may not have alot of room for anything else back there. Also your 14 lbs Shihpoo will be comfortable on this booster seat!!
