- The cover is machine washable & it is of very good quality. I would also recommend placing a soft blanket over the bed to keep it clean.

- I bought the XL size and it works well for my 95 ib lab.

My dog digs at her beds. Will this stand up to that on a daily basis? Canvas seems to be the only thing that does and those are hard to find.
- I've got 2 dogs, 1 digs 3-5 times a week. The bed has lasted a year so far. I keep her nails trimmed, and in winter she has a blanket for added warmth, which adds a layer of protection against digging.

Is the dementions the area where the dog can lay down or is that with the bolsters included?

- Yes the stuffing for the bolster comes out easily. It's encased in it's own "sleeve" so that there isn't loose stuffing everywhere. Just unzip the bolster compartment and slide out the stuffing. Easiest dog bed to disassemble/reassemble that I've ever owned. These are great beds and they hold up very well. I still have the first bed I purchased over 5 years ago and it gets lots of use!

So I have to use an additional blanket with this for comfort after paying $200 for the bed? I missed that it was course twill
What is the thickness of the foam for the bed of the lounge. I have an 80 lb dog, what is the compressibility of the foam; does it hold the weight or depress significantly.
- The Memory Foam height for all 4 sizes is: 4 inches for Large & XL, 6 inches for Jumbo and 2.5 inches for Small. The memory foam provides excellent support and can hold the appropriate weight.

What type of bed would you suggest for my miniature dachshund? She is 3 1/2 months old. She gets cold easily & sleeps w/ me in my bed. I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
I recently purchased a memory foam mattress topper that is CertiPUR-US certified. This means that it contains VOC’s that are less than 0.5 parts per million which is the safe range for humans. However, I am wondering if this is also a safe range for dogs as my dog sleeps on my bed each night. The company claims that they also do not use dangerous chemicals in their foam and I know that some dog beds are regulated by CertiPUR-US as well. I want to be sure that this memory foam will not harm Timo.
