My 8 year old lab (pure if that is rellevant) who has ALWAYS been deathly afraid of the bathroom and tub went outside roled around in the grass played fetch 2-3 times came inside and ran and jumped into the tub. Wont get out, not even entices by his favorite treats. He has been panting a lot for an hour or so as well. Its only 72 degrees in the house (I live in florida). Thats everything I can think of that might be relevant. Very concerning behavior.
I want him to be a strong swimmer bye the time spring comes at what age should I let him start playing in the bathtub and slowly increasing the water depth over several weeks? (I don't have the pup yet just getting prepared for when I do)

Hello, I need advice on how to properly bathe a totally blind 16 yr old Boston, whom I've had for 15 yrs, weighs around 12 or 13 pounds. She has adjusted over the past 5 years but is a little disoriented sometimes, skidish when you reach down to pick her up, etc. I barely can clip her toenails anymore....but bathing? Oh boy! Hi! Thanks for your time! My little dog Baxter is white, so he gets dirty pretty fast. I usually give him baths about 1nce a week (that was okayed my our vet) but because the weather is so cold now, he is sooo cold after his baths, eventually we warm him up though.
