We're pretty sure our male German Shepherd has a hygroma on his left elbow (We have laminate flooring). This site doesn't recommend draining it. We are enroute to purchase a dog bed now.
This morning my 12 year old black lab would not get out of bed. He was licking his paw and I looked and it was red and bleeding. I’m not sure what happened. I went to the store and cleaned it up really well. I soaked in epsom salt, put some betadine on, then neospoorin, and covered it well. These pictures are currently what it looks like. It is swollen compared to his other paw. I also just soaked it again. He seeems to find comfort from that. I’ve looked as best as possible for something stuck.
Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem. Hi I am looking for advice. My dog is 17 years old and has arthritis in her front paw. Her paw is pretty deformed as a result of many operations over the years. She is in very good health apart from her paw but she is uncomfortable and limping. She is already on steroids, tramodol, you move supplements, We have changed her food to senior dog food and keep her paw covered with a rubber sock on walks. Is there anything else I can do?
Female pug usually sleeps in orthopedic bed w male, they have always been unseparable and sleep smooshed together in their giant bed but lately she keeps sleeping on floor in hallway on other side of living room. Hi, I have a great Pyrenees's/Anatolian shepherd. She's almost 6yrs old, 105 lbs She has arthritis in her hind legs and back. Her vet has her on osteo biflex and prevocox 227 mg daily. She's active. But getting up and moving around for the first couple minutes is really hurting her. After that she moves stiffly. What else can I do for her?

I have an appointment tomorrow with my vet for a swollen front left leg.
