With the freezing temps we have been experiencing, Ive been doing everything to try to keep Brody’s paws warm and healthy when he’s outside. Boots aren’t really his favorite so I picked up some paw wax from the local bet store. They only had one brand and it doesn’t say any where if it is safe for the dogs to lick It (I’ve even checked their site). So I’ve included a picture of the product and ingredients and wanted to know if you could help with that. Thanks !
She keeps chewing on her right paw pads, we are in the snowy and icy climate of Wisconsin, and a lot of people use rock salt. So I am mildly concerned about this thank you.
My two dogs have VERY tender Pads on their paws, during the Winter's Extreme cold and Icy weather. I bought a cream called 'Invisible Boot'. Is Vaseline just as good, as once the dogs are outside just to do their Duties, they hold their paws up, before getting back to the house. They are in my back yard, where no Salt is used. They just freeze their pads so quickly! I can't put Boots on them, as they are often in deep snow, and the Boots have come off, in the past. What about the Vaseline?
My dog ate a bottle of magnesium pills (146 400mg ea.) and the preservative container. He’s 80lbs
My dog ripped open a gel pea pack (that freezes) I'm nervous
I wanted to make sure this cold care product i purchased is safe to use (see photo of ingredients) i would store this in my garage and would use it outside of my house not near my cat. I wanted to check it was safe before I touch the box just in case
How do I take care of my pets paws during the winter/snowy days ?
Hi, temperatures outside are very cold- 0 to 21 below zero. Our 15 yr old siberian husky black lab mix is experiencing painful difficulty going outside, lifting his paws as he walks. I had to go out and help him up a few steps on the deck. We plan to order some boots. Is there any medication or lotion we can put on his paws to help in the meantime?
Took my dog for a walk and all of a sudden he stopped to lick his paws. I looked to see if he stepped on something but couldn’t see or feel anything. He started to limp off and on so I decided to take him back home. I took a flashlight to look at all paws but still didn’t see anything. The only thing I can think of that he would have stepped on is rock salt. They put it out today so it hasn’t been prolonged exposure, but could that be it? I washed his paws with soap, what else should I do?
Is the product Rat X really safe for pets? I don't see how it can kills rats and mice, but not kill my pets. Active ingredients: corn gluten meal 55%, sodium chloride 2%. Inert ingredients: Maltodextrin, sorbitol, wheat flour, wheat germ oil
My dog got a hold of a gel ice pac. I dont know if it is poisonous or if we should take hime to the vet.
Hi, My husky hurt his paw so I put Espree Paw Balm on his paw and Im guessing he licked it because he pooped out what looked like resin. The ingredients in the Paw Balm are lanolin, bees wax, carnauba, sweet almond oil, aloe oil, lemon peel oil, vitamin E, comfrey extract, arnica. Now hes okay but laying around a bit more than normal. I added pictures of the resin like stuff from his poop. When I squeeze it is hard but I can scrape it if I scrape hard. Thank you!
