The door was easy to install and the quality was as good as advertised. Only issue was the screws were almost too short due to the door thickness, but they worked and the dog door fit nicely.

I have installed 8 of these dog doors and all have failed in the first few months. The rubber seals that seal the flap tear off and then the door leaks cold or hot air.

We bought this dogie door , I was little concerned about how this will work in cold weather. Due to the double flap on the door it works just perfect, cold air does not come in . It took just a day for our dog to learn how to use this door, now she is able to go and come out of the house without our help. This is wall mounted and fits perfect. Thank you for this Product.

Had been using a flexible vinyl pet door for 10+ years and wanted something that would be less drafty. This product fits the bill (a lowered heating bill to be precise). I was a bit concerned that, because the door is heavier and more rigid/solid than the previous one, my senior dog (who has some dementia) would have difficulty with it. It did take him a few days (and plenty of treats) to get used to it but now he uses it day and night by himself. I also like that the screws to assemble the door are made of metal and not plastic.

Yes - during this past winter and rather blustery spring I have had no issues with the flap “flapping” in the wind. I definitely recommend this product.

Can you install a pet door on a metal door?

Yes. We just installed a Flex door on an outside metal door. It had a smaller Petco door on it before we installed this one. They are relatively easy to do, but you'll need the right equipment, or in our case, a friend who has the equipment and will do the installation for you
