I do not recommend this product to any fishkeeper as the plastic edges are incredibly sharp and could easily injure fish and tear up fins, I almost cut myself on it, and this doesn't seem to be some poorly cut edges from the factory, but actually how the product is intended to be. I don't think this terrace is safe for any fish, and there is not enough material left over if you were to cut and sand all the sharp pieces, especially on the bottom support column. On another note, I also think it is very ugly, the brown and green coloring is really weird, and you would have to use a lot of gravel to cover the top of the terrace to make it look decent. Not worth the risk or the hassle to me. Use extreme caution if you do purchase, but I know I will be returning mine immediately.

This feature is an attractive addition to the tank. It allows you to decorate in varying levels. The fish seem to enjoy being able to interact with items above it and hang out beneath it. It was a good price and still doesn't look cheap.

Was a little difficult getting it in position as the suction cups come off easy. I have had a few to ask where I found it. Many years back they had 3 different kits now just one.

I just purchased today. Cleaned and filed edges a bit..cichlids r nuts..easy assembly and install. Perfect in corner of my 55 gallon cichlid tank. One of cheapest tank decor I ever bought and can't be happier with results. I use crushed coral substrate and no problem putting base to bottom and I also ran suction cups under hot water to soften, sticking no problem even with ceramic on top. My tank was already established and the crazies love it.

If I could leave less stars I would. Absolute junk. It won't stay upright no matter what you try. It doesn't support any weight, and I had to glue the suction cups on just to get that part of it to work halfway. This product made me very frustrated and it was a waste of time and money.

This is a terrible product, directions are unclear. Once I got it in and ready the auction cups came undone leaving me to struggle to keep the platform level before it dumped everything off that I had just worked on. Glued the suction cup rings on and tried again only for it to not sit even. After much struggling and I don't have much gravel on it because it can't support the weight it still is sitting lopsided and I'm very upset with it. You can't put enough substrate on it to plant live plants either. I guess I shouldn't have expected so much out of such a cheap product.
