I would like to know how I can make my goldfish live the longest possible life they can and how to add more decor after I added the water and conditioning today and I am going to go get my fishies I think I am going to go with two but how to properly add them to the tank

Hi i have a small 6 parrot fish and 1 bichir in my 10 gallon aquarium this tank is just temporary i will buy a 50 gallon soon because there is no available 50 gallon right now, ok my 6 parrot fish are just fighting each other and stressed because of that and they have change color and Im so worried because i dont want my fish to die so pls i need advice and dont worry about my bichir his fine LOL.

Only a week ago I transferred my two red eared sliders to a preformed pond enclosure, cleaned the filter, added common goldfish from the pet store to the water -- Not adding the water they came in into the pond obviously. I noticed both had a dull white smudge/blotch on their plastron and tiny white hard bumps on their carapace, and I can't manage to pick them off. No dents or bad smells, clear eyes, clean water. Same diet besides one night of goldfish binging. Could they be calcium deposits?
I bought a few baby Bettas, the person at the Petco counter TOLD ME that these fish CAN STAY in the tubs they came in (NOT BAGS) until they get too big! If they can live in these tubs at the store cant they live in the tubs in my loving home?? How big is too big? I have bee told they have to be moved to a BIG tank, like, 2 or 3 gallons, is there any way I can get cheap ones?? i have a question, we recently got glofish as a gift to my mother. I bought the water conditioner, food, plants and a volcano to decorate the tank, its a 5 gallon tank so they would have alot of room to swim. But all 5 fish, just stay at the bottom of the tank, occasional moving, not to full out swimming. the swim a bit for a few seconds and hide again under the plants or filter pump, in the back of the tank. I want to know is that normal?
