I like this model aquarium. It is 2 gallons and nice for a small betta. I even like that some models have a switch on the LED light. The Orange model has no switch...no bueno. But it is a decent tank...

nice little tank
this is a pretty good tank ideal for bettas or maybe shrimp. I have an adolescent veil tail betta in there now and it's a pretty good size for him. it has a very quiet built in filter that does a decent job of keeping the tank clean. the nice thing about the filter is that it has enough space inside to fit a small heater which is key to having a happy healthy betta ( they are tropical fish after all)
the big downsides to this tank are that the filter current is a bit too strong for my fish ( this can be fixed by " baffling" the filter output hole with a zip tie and a few layers of netting) and, because it is made of acrylic instead of glass it scratches INCREDIBLY easIly.
otherwise, the lid stays on well (and prevents jumping out well enough ) and the led ( which is I simple on off setup) is nice and bright and stays on the back of the tank well enough.
I think this would be a good tank for an intermediate aquarist who knows how to clean and acrylic tank ( or for a beginner with some parental guidence) and is the perfect size to fit on a night table or a bookshelf.

Could you explain how you made the filter less strong? I’m having the same issue?
- There is a flow control adjustment on the motor of the filter. The motor will need to be removed from the filter area of the tank. There is a small switch on one side that will decrease the flow. This same side of the motor can also be removed to access the impeller for cleaning.

Is that lgiht good for low light live plants?
- Thank you for your question. The light is not a Grow Light, but it is a bright LED. I would not believe this would be good for a low light plant.

Can I use this for a gold fish?
- Regular gold fish can get over 12 inches . They get very messy. I have a 29 gallon tank, With a 80 gallon filter. The bigger tank and filter. Means you don't have clean every few days. I've had two goldfish ,that got over 13 inches. That eventually died. Of course I got more. That are going good.
