I am planning to go on vacation and I can’t take Ash. To ensure he stays healthy what should I do? How much food should I keep in his tank?
My fish is laying down at the bottom of the tank.
My goldfish appears bloated
I transferred my betta from a 3.7 to a 5.5 before I went on a trip to Utah. When I came back he didn’t seem very active and this has been the 3rd day he hasn’t had a appetite. I haven’t seen him swim to the top for air or anything and his fins seem to be deteriorating ,and he lost a little of his color. I sometimes ease him with the net to make sure he is alive and he moves but goes back on his side then back to laying on the bottom. anything I could do to help the poor guy? I had someone feed h
I got my baby male Betta fish yesterday, I got a few others as well, they are all in the containers they came in seeing as the counter worker told me they could be untill they got bigger, My Male isnt eating the bloodworms in his tank. Im worried, I fed him three times, when I got home from the store, this morning and tonight, there are still pellets in there! Is it caused by stress? How can I save my little Dustin!
I have a 65 litre aquarium tank with 8 small tiger barbs fish ,6 Red eye tetra fish, 2 big golden molly, 2 rainbow sharks.........so can I add Discus Fish with these tank mates ? If yes ...if no ....so which tank mates is suitable for discus fish ? I have a internal power filter and can I leave tank with automatic feeder for a 1 month at vacation ?
My Betta fish keeps spitting out its food. I feed it "XL color granules" mixed with "color flakes" its tank mate is a molly. I heard you can get bloodworms and soak them in garlic guard and they will eat it. Is this true? Thank you. -Cristina
He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.
My new glofish shark has long, white, stringy poop hanging off its body. I may have overfed him his glofish flakes. Is he constipated or stressed from being in a new tank? I treated the water with Aqua SafeStart and EasyBalance. What can I do to get him to poop?
I was going to feed my fish today but i saw him laying down in the bottom of the tank. He’s still breathing and he moves occasionally but he’s just laying down and he looks pretty much dead. I don’t know if it’s a swimming bladder disease or something else. Also i’ve noticed his colors have faded a bit. Please help me! :)
How long can i keep my puppies wet food in refrigerator before throwing it out. I have it in a Tupperware container
I have a male beta fish that will not eat (or at least I haven’t seen him eat). I got him 5 days ago. He’s in a 1 gallon bowl. I got him the recommended beta pellets but he can’t seem to get them to stay down. He gets excited when I feed him but when he goes for the pellet, he holds it in between his lips then spits it out. The pellets end up sinking after a while and that’s when he grazes the bottom. I think that’s how he’s getting his food but i’m not 100% sure. How can I get him to eat?
