Bought this last year for Christmas and it's already been broke for 5 months. Not sturdy- bottom ledge completely cracked from the base and can't be reattached. Was so excited since it looked more modern than normal cat trees but don't purchase with the expectation for it to last.

Bought two of these Penn Plax Cat Cube Towers, 41" about a year ago. In less than 5 months the plastic part on one of the side posts broke. My cats loved the towers so much we searched for a replacement piece with no luck. Over the year all the posts have come undone when a cat jumps up on them and it falls. These things weigh around 5lbs falling from 40 inches and landing on one of your cats or your foot doesn't feel good. This could be prevented if once twisted in place there was a lock to keep it from untwisting but if the plastic part breaks so easily it still renders the scratching post and platform useless. The scratching posts and platforms also lean over time. Disappointed that they come apart and break so easily. My cats weigh between 7 and 17 lbs maybe these towers are best for kittens or cats that weigh less than 7 lbs. If you do buy this tower please be careful to make sure they are twisted in place a couple times a day to keep your kitties and your feet safe.

Love this tower! Very sturdy and bottom heavy rather than top heavy. Won't tip over. Easy assembly. Cats love it.

My cats love the tower. The stand is not bulky or heavy and pleasing to the eye. It's very cute. It was easy to assemble and locks in place so its stable and sturdy. I just wish the lower lounger or top lounger was taller so cats can stretch and scratch on the sisal post. Overall, I would recommend this product for any cat who is playful or just wants to be lazy and sleep.

Mostly sturdy, cats love it a lot, purrfect for every cat

I purchased this in December for my three cats and the size is perfect and they love playing on it/in it. However it’s now March and the side scratching post/pad has not held up and the nails have ripped out of the base of the wood the perch no longer stands up straight but leans. Also, as soon as any nails get on the gray fabric it pulls it up in a ugly mess. I thought the fabric would be better since my previous cat trees that were carpet eventually shed everywhere but the carpet ones look better in the long run after ware and tear. In my opinion this was very cheaply made especially for the price, the sale price isn’t even work the quality you get.

My cat LOVES his new property. He moved into his condo within a few minutes of assembly. My cat has been in and on each and every level since it arrived! If only he paid condo fees:)
