Hi i have a Small fish Tank 1.6 gallon i originally got it for 2 fish a small gold fish and a terra a neighbor gave us 2 more gold fish the water of the tank went real cloudy and has an odor as this is the first time we have fish I'm probably doing something wrong can you please advise

I have a 5 gallon tank with a submerged Built-in filtration system how many cubes do I use and how do I put them in my filter? Please provide the instructions thank you for your time.

I want to get an apple snail or a mystery snail. I have an indoor storage container pond where I will be putting one or two goldfish in. It doesn't have a top, so can the snails crawl out? If they can, how can I avoid it? Also someone told me to quarantine it, how do i do that?
I bought a few baby Bettas, the person at the Petco counter TOLD ME that these fish CAN STAY in the tubs they came in (NOT BAGS) until they get too big! If they can live in these tubs at the store cant they live in the tubs in my loving home?? How big is too big?
