Measurements provided are WAY OFF

I plan on returning this item... Overall the quality itself is good, and I like the bright reflectors on the hems for safety. Unfortunately the measurements provided are WAY OFF for fitting, and no where when ordering online does it mention anything about weight limit for sizing; only measurements for girth, length, etc. On the chart indicated it states an extra large should fit a golden retriever, which can reach up to 75 lb. When I received the jacket there was a note on it that said "for 60 lb and under"... This clearly was not meant for my 80 lb boy. I tried it anyway since the girth, etc. was correct. When I put it around him the velcro barely touched and it was too short in length. When I used my tape measure it did not match the chart provided online for sizing (ie. Chart stated it was 24 to 26 in long down the back, but I measured only 22 in). Very disappointed especially for how expensive this item is. Online buyer beware!
