Ok so I have an issue. Its getting cold here and we are looking at some very heavy snow this year. All three of our dogs are rather thin coated. The older two refuse to potty outside if its too cold. Would sweaters help? Also the youngest is less than two pounds (tiny chihuahua mix) and even though he's not allowed outside yet we like 2 to 4 inches above our floor tend to get cold no matter what temperature we keep the house at how can I help him stay warm?
Why does my dog hate wearing sweaters? The others are always good, hazel has a water jacket and I put it on her when its really cold or raining and she always stays still like a statue and then she will rub against the wall, plants, or a couch, the jacket fits her perfectly and she can pee and poop with no issue (asking since summer is all most over ) thank you!

What harness is the best and most comfortable for my dog. It would also have to work with a tie out stake. The one i have she just pulls right out of it. I am planning on buying a puppy. I originally wanted a Siberian Husky, but as I did my research I found that they are generally not good with small animals and they tend to run away. We have cats, ducks, and a rabbit. I really would like a dog about that size. I would also like a breed of dog that would be easy to train to follow me off leash. We have 40 acres and I like to go on long walks. I need a very friendly dog. I have no other requirements besides that. I want a very needy dog though.
