The Pearlscale Butterfly is hardy and adapts well to life in an aquarium. They can be kept in groups, including other butterflies, but we recommend adding them last to aquariums with lots of fish. They won't do well with fish that are overly aggressive, but they will also nip and pick at fish that are very timid. Make sure there are plenty of hiding places, which will help them acclimate. Like most butterflies, they're not recommended for reef aquariums because they are likely to consume a variety of coral polyps. This fish will benefit from multiple feedings a day of frozen meaty foods. Adding algae to their diet to graze on mimicks their wild eating behavior. This butterfly will grow to be about 6" in size and will need ample swimming space. They are pearly white with orange on the posterior and caudal fin and a black line that goes through its eyes. The dorsal fins are jagged and can get caught in nets.

I recently bought a pearl arrowana fish what care should I take
My goldfish appears bloated
Hi, my cosmo goldfish' scales have small bumps underneath and I do not have any pet stores/veterinary offices to help near me. Would you be able to tell me what is going on with him? I have attached photos of him to give a visual. I am unsure why the third one may show up upside down and I apologize.
My koi are loosing scales and one of my goldfish has white bumps on it's head. What could it be?
My fish is bulging is appearance and I am fairly sure is a female, the tank water is getting too cold for them though but I am working on that as fast as I can. I am worried she has dropsy or has eggs, what is going on?
Hi, My fish has white spot which is expanding. It also has something around mouth. Spot looks white with small dots in it. I thought it is an ich outbreak. Currently tank is treated with Sera omnipur (30% of recommended dose). It is big pufferfish. thanks for your help Nikola
Hello. My fish has external skin bubbles. What can I do to heal it? I’ll appreciate it. Thanks
I dont know if you are a tropical fish specialist. But there is something going on in my tank and need help diagnosing it. My corydora has two raised growths ..one at the base of its fin. And one under the eye. My pleco seems a bit tattered too. A little flashing was happening with my yoyo loach also. That's now stopped after a water change.
So I have been thinking about getting a new caged animal, but am not sure what to get. I am hoping for a fairly easy animal to care for (AROUND the same "hardness level" as care for a Crested gecko), and one that doesn't need tons of (tank or cage) space. Also, I saw a Cowfish on a YouTube channel, and I thought they where cute, so I tried to find its care online, but I couldn't find anything. Nor could I find someone selling one.
My red cap oranda has swim bladder disease. How can i help it?
Hello! A week ago I adopted a betta from a local aquarium store. The tank setup I have is a 10gal filtered and heated tank (79f-80f) at 6.8-7ph with a few Marimo moss balls and this single fish. He's very active. I noticed that he has one eye bigger than the other and I'm afraid it is popeye. Does this look like popeye? I believe he looked this way when I got him. There is no cloudiness but his left eye is bigger than the other. I did a 30% water change yesterday. what do I do?
My female betta has dropsy what can I get her
