Step 1. Remove everything from the packaging. Knead the clay for 2-3 minutes and roll it out on a flat surface. Ensure clay is rolled out enough to use the shaping ring. Step 2. Use the shaping ring to make the circular shape. Then use the pin to create the hole for the ribbon. Step 3. Clean off your pet's paw so there is no excess dirt or material on it. Once your pet's paw is dry, push gently but hard enough to make an impression. Let dry for 24- 48 hours. Dry in a cool, non-sunny spot. Step 4. Once the keepsake is completely dry, choose from the three ribbon options and hang the keepsake around your home! Cherish forever.

I see a lot of negative review for this product. But It worked ok for me. my dog was dying and I made this impression of his paw before he passed. I followed their instructions and worked fine. It took quite a bit of time to dry like several days for sure and it is very light but it is ok. It meant a lot for me to do this and was glad to found this product. Cost was 10$ at Petco

I found out last minute that I would need to say goodbye to my dog of 15 years. Gutted I wanted to find something to memorialize her quickly. I ordered 2 sets of the prints online (Amazon) and 5 in-store (Petco). The Amazon ones were completely dried out. The Petco ones while fresh and MUCH better than Amazon’s of the same brand, we’re difficult to work with. It doesn’t give you a finely detailed print. It’s more of a murky general impression. That said, if you want a cute memento this is for you. If you want to memorialize your dying dog, find another option. Overall the utensils needed should be on the outer packaging vs. the instructions only.

I bought two of these. Here is the truth: 1 - I found it easy to get the paw prints done. 2 - this is not a keepsake worthy item due to the playdoh like consistency. You don't bake this, it does not harden (at least it hasn't yet and it has been 5 days), hence the opportunity for accidentally destroying your only paw print memento is high. I prefer the baked clay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted to do a paw print keepsake for my pets so I was excited to be chosen for this campaign. First off, the process is super easy. The only issues I encountered were the muddy paws, even after washing. Plus, it is not easy to roll out with the small little rolling stick they give you. We used all 3 of our dog prints as we didn't want to leave any of them out. I love how it came out even if it is a bit messy looking.
