Is it safe to add a few drops of essential oil like citronella or peppermint or both to an existing organic shampoo? He is using human nature's shampoo for pets.
Mayor has a very sensitive skin and smelly fur. Tried many shampoo to fit him. His first good shampoo is good enough but I want to change to organic. The organic one makes his skin flaky and fur dry so I stopped it. I wanted to get rid of the dry skin and the smelly fur. Are there any suggestions I can do a home remedy to these? Hello, I have read that due to Boston Terrier's short coat and dryer skin, that it's important that I take care of her skin and coat by using a high quality shampoo with a high quality conditioner in it that both have the best and right ingredients in them "specifically for a Boston". I prefer both in one bottle. So I would really appreciate sending me 2-3 high quality products that you highly recommend specifically for Bostons that will maintain a healthy smooth silky shiny coat for my Boston ?

1 cup uncooked oatmeal (not instant oats) sprigs of rosemary 1/3 cup baking soda I saw this recipe online for making dog shampoo. Will a shampoo made from these ingredients be effective against ticks and fleas? Also is there anything else we can use to make it effective against tick and fleas? And can rosemary be replaced by something else like coconut oil?
ive been trying to use only all natural products because my pets are allergic/ very sensitive to a lot of products all the natural one seem to work really well for them i usually get their stuff online but i was at Walmart and bought no rinse waterless shapoo is says it natural plant based cleansing no residue the problem is I've learned that some products that say natural really aren't at times so before i use it i wanted to know if it was natural but i don't understand the ingredients
