Hello I'm Candace I have 2 Yorkies they both have pancreatitis. I usually feed them moistened diamond puppy and boiled or canned chicken. A lady at Petco suggested I mixed in some grain free fresh pet food mixture and alternate with freeze dried Stella &Chewy's meal mixture (which is moistened with warm water). She said grain free bcuz they often have diarrhea or soft/mucas poop or my male dog has trouble pooping. I did this for 2 days. They love it but have had some soft poop. Is this normal?
I have a female rescue Boston terrier. She's little over yr old. I am having trouble getting her to eat . Hills small breed., Pro plan small breed, Blue Small breed and Eukanubba small breed she hasn't liked! Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?
