The Male Paradise Betta is a vibrant and lively variety that showcases brilliant streaks of color. Its flamboyant colors, long flowing fins, and feisty personality make it a stunning centerpiece in any aquarium. This variety is especially eye-catching in well-lit planted tanks where its colors shimmer in motion. Though delicate-looking, they are hardy and intelligent, thriving with proper care in a well-maintained aquarium. A varied diet of high-quality Betta pellets, frozen or live foods such as Bloodworms, Brine shrimp, and Daphnia is ideal for their continued health. A gentle filter is recommended and be sure to prevent strong currents for this Betta. With proper care, the Male Paradise Betta can live 2-4 years, serving as a stunning and mesmerizing aquatic pet.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.
Male Bettas should be housed alone. Female bettas can be housed together if provided sufficient space, hiding spots, and food.

I am not able to ID my fish. It seems to belong to the family of snakehead bettas. But it is yellow in colour. They belly is a shimmering yellow gradually getting duller towards the tail. the tail and fins are yellow with red borders. Its eyes are blue. It seems to be enjoying staying at the top most of the time. Its not aggressive. Please help me ID my fish

Betta fish has ick near its eye
I have a paradise betta and recently he has lost large chunks out of his tail fin. I don't think it is fin rot and I don't think he has caught it on any sharp edge on decorations in the tank. He is in a filtered 2.5-gallon tank and the only other living thing in the tank is a tiger snail. Can you help me? note: in the pictures, the first one is current but the one of the tank is a couple of weeks old. the only difference now is the leaf bed has been removed.
My betta is a baby boy (4monthold) When I first got him he was red with white. 2 months ago his growing fins began becoming blue. Abt 3 weeks ago I see that he began losing his color a bit& began becoming kind of transparent, so I took the water to get checked& the water was good but the store couldnt check for ammonia cause they had ran out of that test(water has conditioner). Last night I notice that he started getting a shiny silver color on 1side of mouth& in gill. But he is acting normal
Can a male Betta be in a 10 gallon aquarium with other fish?
My betta has red tips on his tail and my cat fish Cory has red spots as well
Hi, my name is Emma and I have a male half moon betta fish named pucker. I’ve had him for about three weeks now and just bought him a tank about a week ago. When I bought him from petsmart they ran out of betta food so they gave me this bug bites tropical fish and he ate it but didn’t like it. But I went back and bought him his food, which colour enhances. Today I went to go feed him and noticed his colour has changed, did it change in a good way? Also does he look healthy to you?
Can I put another type of fish with my male betta?
