I’ve been using kaytee dust for about four years now, and just recently bought this as a replacement, And WOW! What difference! So much less gritty than kaytee dust, doesn’t just sit on your chinchillas fur, and leaves coat incredibly soft!! My chin was having problems with fur chewing, and I started using this dust and his fur has begun to grow in very nicely! I don’t know if I can attribute that to this product, but I think it definitely played some factor in the regrowth/stop of chewing.

I always use Oxbow Poof for my Chinchilla. The dust bath powder my local pet store carries leaves a dark drown stain on my pet's white fur. Oxbow Poof doesn't do that!

Oxbow is a wonderful brand and it’s very safe for the chinchillas. Some dusts can cause irritation to their skin but this one has safe ingredients to assure your chinchilla has a nice covered dust coat.
