Oxbow Hays are High Quality

Normally Oxbow hays are good high quality products. (Occasionally we have received a box of dried out straw like poor quality hay but always have been able to return it.) We use the orchard grass for putting in litter boxes and our house rabbits approve.

Be careful buying these, it's 50/50 you'll get a useable bag vs a giant pile of unusable dust and small chopped hay. It's ridiculous, I can't keep buying a product that I can't guarantee even being worth it half the time, I'm just lucky I haven't got any dead animals in mine yet. This is seriously disappointing

I have been buying Oxbow Orchard grass for at least 2 yrs now. I started out small, and am now purchasing the 9lb box on subscription .. my boys deserve the very best and this is it!

Lawn clippings with dried bugs! Trash!

Constantly has dried bugs in it and it’s always shredded particles. Such trash hay!!! I’ve returned so many back to the pet store due to dead bugs - the pet store is sick of me returning bags and told me to write the company. Very disappointed in your products.

I am a returning customer. I have 3 hungry guinea pigs that demand care! I found myself coming back to Petco for their continual needs. The staff at the East York location is always very friendly and helpful! I especially appreciate Tanner. He's an excellent asset to your company. Not only was he very hospitable to me, but he took the time to help me and answer all of my questions, patiently. The staff and the pets are definitely lucky to have a very compassionate leader! Is this hay organic? Have any herbicides or pesticides been used either before planting or anytime during the life cycle? I want to use it to mulch my organic garden. Thank you.

      2nd cutting hay is the best. Oxbow is an excellent hay, which has timothy, orchard etc. I would call the company and ask them. Not sure which Oxbow is the one you should use.

    How is this grass packaged? I see the overall box size is about 2' x 2' x 18". We have one larger rabbit and are thinking of going this direction because it is a great value and our the orchard grass is better for our daughter's allergies.

      We purchase the 40oz. Size as a supplement to add variety to our guinea pig’s diet. It comes in a large plastic bag. The only concern I would have is that this variety does not seem as readily available as other Hays, so occasionally it is out of stock.

      I buy this for my 2 guinea pigs. It lasts for about 6 months. My piggies don't nest in it, they have guineadad liners. If you are planning to use this for a bedding addition it would not last 6 months. Mine eat this orchard grass only. It is available to them 24/7. It is their favorite! Great alternative for hay allergies.
