Unsuitable for hamsters and gerbils

This food is based off of Timothy hay which has been proven to not be appropriate for hamsters and gerbils. While they can digest the hay, it moves through their system too fast for nutrients to be absorbed leading to malnutrition

i would mix it in with a couple spoons of small animal food mix and add one of these pellets per animal. its a good way to supplement their nutrients but if they eat only this and nothing else it can cause health issues.

I when to the store to get my hamster and some new food and the nice girl at the store recommended it so I got it and I put it in my hamsters bowl and I wolk up in the morning and she was sitting in her bowl grabbing the food and pushing it threw the bars and good thing I still had some of the other food left.

This food is the best food out there for gerbils. Plain and simple. Quality ingredients and none of that added stuff that is actually terrible for gerbils (yet a lot of foods have the additives).
